Anniversary card

Hello all, I thought of sharing yet another card, this one I made it for my parents wedding Anniversary last week on 25th, same day as my daughter's birthday.
It is a simple one layer card, I sponged it using the Calypso Coral ink from SU and then I stamped and embossed the roses from altenew and heat embossed in gold, the sentiment is also from the same set. A few gold jewels to finish off.

Yellow and blue take 2

Hello all, I am up with a card, which was made 3 weeks back. Actually I recorded a video also to enter in the AlteNew Challenge, but I was going through focus problems those days, so that didn't happen.
I am glad that this card is finally being posted.
I used vintage photo DI and used a Heidi Swapp mixed media script stamp to stamp the base. The roses are stamped on a water color paper, I did some masking too.
Stamped the sentiment on a blue strip using white pigment ink, and some matching sequins to finish off.

TCC #56

Hey all, it's time for a new challenge at The Card Concept, we have a beautiful inspiration for you this week.

I was inspired by the colors, I used ME - freestyle floral stamp and stamped the flowewrs in blushing bride from SU on a water color paper, and then used color pencils to color and then ran my water brush to blend in the water color pencils color., the white space I colored using DI - peacock feathers, and I also added some water color gold to it to get the shimmer. Once dry, I fussy cut the flowers and added straight to the base with out any foam adhesive this time.
The sentiment is also from ME _-water blooms, and I also stamped a flower at the bottom and few gold jewels to finish off.

Happy Birthday to my DD

Good Morning all, it's a beautiful day today, the sky is so blue and pretty, and I have to tell you that saying that it is hot is an understatement. It's like an OVEN!!! I am staying indoors, so I am loving the view, it is mesmerizing for me!

Today is my daughter's birthday, she is 14 today. It also happens to be my parents 46th wedding Anniversary, so a double celebration day!!
Both kiddos are growing up pretty fast, my son will be 16 in next 5 months, and I will be 40...wow, the time is going by so fast........

I made an almost one layer card, these are the colors she is into nowadays. I made this a few days back and hid it from her ;)
I used the DI and sponged the white textured base, lot of ink blending happened here. Once happy with the blending, I sprinkled some water on it, followed by some gold and silver splatters, I also added some black splatters too.
I used Hero Arts - sketched letters for the name and the birthday sentiment is from HLS, a gold twine tucked under and exactly 14 jewels in various colors o the card to finish off. I gave her this morning, and she loved it, she said, "I love the galaxy themed card mama". That made my day!

Bird-house

Hello all, I am popping by to share a card, I have a couple of cards sitting and just not spending enough time on the computer to write the posts.
I used a light green textured base, and used forest moss DI to ink it up from the sides. Later I used the branch from ME - lunar wishes, and colored the flowers in red, and added a bird house under the branch, and a few sequins to finish off. The sentiment is from STAMplorations.

Stenciled Proton!

Happy Sunday to all, I am up with a simple stenciled card. i had this quote which I wanted to use for a long time, but was waiting for the right challenge to make.

Luckily I was able to sit and craft, so I made a few cards, will post as and when depending on how much screen time I can handle ;) I am a whole better now, but taking time to get back to blogging in full swing.

For this card, the sentiment is computer generated, I played around the fonts and spacing, once I was happy I printed it off.
I used Heidi Swapp's honeycomb stencil, and sponged a clustered hexagon, similar to the bondings in organic chemistry, for those who don't know - Chemistry is my favorite subject, specially organic chemistry.
I used a pale green pigment for the sponging, masked around so that I don't get around.
Once the sponging was done, I used a fine tip felt marker and added the lines to highlight he hexagons. I then used a tiny dot stamp from ME, these are for flower centers, but I had used to add my protons here in wild wasabi from SU. I added a pale green textured base to match my front. A few matching green tiny sequins to finish of the card, I am super happy with the look. I hope you all like it as well :)

masked and ready to be inked.

Acrylic block technique with colourQ palette

Good morning folks, I was able to make 2 cards yesterday, one was fro my DT inspiration, and the other one was half done and waiting for 2 days to finish it off.
2 days back, I used acrylic block with inks and mist technique using the colors from colourQ and created the background, and I was thinking how to finish off the whole card.
So I sat down, and decided to stamp the whole background with outline stamps, I think it was a good decision, ads I wanted to show the colors on the background, but also wanted to add something on it.
I used ME_ Freestyle florals to stamp the flowers, and leaves in a random fashion. I added the panel to a white base.
Now adding the sentiment was bit tricky, as didn't wanted to add anything which cover up the design, so I used the die cut from Spellbinders at the very bottom.
I love this card, and do hope that you all find it interesting as well.
